Found Objects

I sold out of almost everything the first day at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. And every day after that. I spent most of the weekend behind my booth making new pieces in real time. Then stayed up until 5 AM every night creating as much as I could before doing it all over again the next day. I averaged about three hours of sleep and kept making until I ran out of every piece of leather I brought with me. I’m exhausted. I’m grateful. And I don’t take any of this love lightly. 🤍 You all really give me the energy I need to keep pushing forward - now more than ever. 🙏🏽🕊️ The beauty in me recognizes the beauty in you. One of the things I’m most proud of is that Found Objects is worn and appreciated by such a wide range of people. Women and men. Young and mature. Across races, cultures, cities, and countries. Found Objects brings people together. It connects us. And on many occasions, people have told me it feels like we’re part of a tribe. What a gift it is to create something with my hands that carries that kind of energy. After all, that’s what I believe life is about … love, connection, and good energy. 🤍 #MadeByHand by me.
