Over two hundred students from @cocalicosd traveled to our Valley Forge campus today for a tour of our Medal of Honor Grove and Valley Forge National Historical Park. We are excited for the day ahead as we continue to provide immersive, place-based civic education!
Thank you to the Pennsylvania State High Twelve Association volunteers who returned to our Valley Forge campus yesterday to plant flowers near our George Washington in Prayer statue. Their annual visit is a cherished spring tradition, and we greatly appreciate their help beautifying our campus for students and visitors. 🌸
Founding Forward welcomed members of the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution (PSSR) and its Color Guard to the Valley Forge campus today. Visiting was Quartermaster of the Color Guard of the PSSR and its Color Guard Austin Lamac, Exec. Director of the PSSR Schuyler C. Wickes, and Immediate Past President of the PSSR Richard Pagano. The PSSR and its Color Guard made a generous donation and will serve as the Presenting Sponsors of the Naturalization Ceremony hosted by Founding Forward and the Chester County Bar Association on June 26th at the Founding Forward campus.
Their generosity will allow us to co-host an event where nearly 50 individuals will take the Oath of Allegiance and become citizens. To learn more, visit /event/naturalization-ceremony/.

On February 23, 1863, the Union League opened its first clubhouse, which quickly became a symbol of patriotic support, and a representation of a political society committed to the Union cause. From this location, the League carried out vital Civil War efforts, including providing aid to military families, recruiting 20,000 Union soldiers, and hosting influential guest speakers.
Although the membership soon outgrew this location, the first clubhouse remains a landmark of the League’s early achievements and enduring legacy.

We loved having @uljuniors on our Valley Forge campus for their annual Sip and Stroll event!
Our staff shared exciting updates about campus expansion and improvements while guiding members on a tour of the 75-acre grounds. Highlights included the Medal of Honor Grove, honoring over 3,500 recipients, as well as residence halls, the chapel, and various learning spaces. Attendees also discovered future plans for Founding Forward and learned how to support civic education programs for students, teachers, and citizens nationwide.
