There was a time in my life that I felt so lost beyond belief. During that time, I took this photograph. It was nearing evening in the nearby park. I’d written pages, trying to understand myself- but couldn’t seem to get there using only the mind as my tool. What I didn’t realize was that there were years and years of narratives and programs and blueprints written within my body- that I was ready to untangle- but I just didn’t know how to do that yet. ✨Then I started receiving Reiki treatments. My old patterns and narratives began to show themselves to me and then unravel. Reiki helped me to come home after years of searching and waiting and wishing for a home that I didn’t trust existed.✨ Now, I’m so grateful I can help do the same for others. Starting this Capricorn season off with a gentle jog in the town of Kingston, NY. Though I’ve always declared “I hate running” and “I suck at running” I’m ready to rewrite that narrative, and rewire that self-imposed constraint.
There are so many things I thought I would never do that im doing, so why not give this a shot too? Also, during a time of grief and missing my dad, it makes me feel closer to him, as he used to run marathons.
Anyhow, I hope you do something loving for yourself today and that you always give yourself a chance to discover just how strong and worthy you are, exactly as you are.
