the goal of foster care is often to provide temporary safety and support while families work toward reunifying. 🫶
that means foster parents, social workers, therapists, courts, and communities all working together to help create safe, stable environments for children to return home to whenever possible.💛
family preservation and reunification matter because, when safe, children benefit from maintaining connection to their families, culture, and support systems.
