Huge thank you to all who came to Paper Tower @specificobjectsprojects last night. I really enjoyed chatting and hearing your thoughts. One of the things to come up, was @strange_perfume guiding me towards Margaret Harrison’s work, shamefully an artist I’ve only just discovered. Looking forward to reading more about her soon.

Excited to share some of these drawings on Thursday evening, (for one night only), @specificobjectsprojects Paper Tower.
(Postponed because of the tube strike).
I’ve found that when drawing over the sugar paper pages of a colouring book, normally, what I draw seems to tessellate with the image underneath. Quite a weird sensation, in that the image underneath somehow reinforces what’s on top. Like they’re actually connected — it feels like collage but somewhat different and yet, still linked to synchronicity.
Looking forward to seeing how these might end up in future paintings…
