Foster Ferrell

So excited to officially be signed with @507publishing ! Seriously a dream come true. It’s been such a joy working with them, and I cannot wait for the music to come out of our partnership!! A few years ago I made the decision that I wanted to make writing my main thing. I’ve grown a lot and gotten a lot of no’s through that time, but now I can see it was all in God’s timing for me to be exactly where he wants me to be. Big thank you to @aaronricemusic for walking me through everything and answering all of my random questions! And obviously I couldn’t do ANY of this without the unwavering support of @billie.a.ferrell and Sawyer! My biggest cheerleaders! Now let’s write some songs!!

Reflecting on this year of work and feeling very grateful! This fall marks 10 years of full-time music for me. It’s looked like a lot of different things over the years - from producing demos for Belmont students, music director at a church, editing a LOT of drums and tuning a LOT of vocals, working for some incredible producers, touring and seeing the world, and now writing and producing full-time the last few years. It’s not lost on me how blessed I am to get to do this, and I’m so thankful for all the artists that I get to make music with! Grateful for the last 10 years, and excited to see what 2024 holds! Happy Thanksgiving!!

• April 25th, 2026 • Our Sylvie girl made her appearance at 34 weeks. It truly was the most redemptive birth. The team was so amazing and calm. She is in the NICU and rocking it right now. Hopefully will come home in a month! Praying specifically for her breathing and to get off oxygen. That we can start bottle feeds soon. That my healing is a smooth process. AND that sweet Sawyer handles this transition as well as any toddler could!

This song is so special to me! Wrote it with @jayputty , and it’s truly a love letter to @billie.a.ferrell . Years ago before we were even married she wrote “growing older with you never gets old” in an anniversary card, and I always knew that was gonna be a song! Thankful for Jay being so excited when I brought this idea in, and for him truly bringing it to life!

Sweet baby girl joining our family in June and we cannot wait! Thankful for every moment of this pregnancy and this little blessing. Asking for prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby. 🤍

This is a special one! Honored to have written it with my friends at @gtcomusic & @realfunrecords . This was the last write of the camp and we were all feeling a little drained. I had come straight from another writing camp, so I think this was my 10th song that week.. We were all sharing how we felt and decided to write what we needed to hear in that moment. It’s been amazing to see how that has connected with so many people right where they’re at! I think we could all benefit from being a little more still and remembering who’s in control.

Sawyer was going to be a big brother. He was so excited to “race cars with the baby” in mama’s tummy. We unfortunately found out at our first ultrasound that there were concerns. We started to miscarry the next day. To say we are devastated is an understatement. It took us a long time to want to try again. We were excited from that first pregnancy test and couldn’t wait to grow our family. To our sweet Sutton, we love you so much. We can’t wait to meet you in heaven. Give our littlest love, Shiloh, a hug from us.
