A lot of guys chase āmore coil = more power,ā but thatās not how the body actually produces velocity.
From a sequencing standpoint, excessive coil can disrupt timing and make it harder to consistently get into a strong launch position. When the load gets too big, it often forces compensationsālike the torso opening earlyāwhich reduces your ability to transfer energy efficiently up the chain.
Efficient movers donāt chase more⦠they sequence better.
Simplify the move, stay stacked, and let the hips and torso work in the right order.
