In this video, I break down some of the sonic DNA of “As One”—from synth leads to layered vocals that echo across borders.
This song was born out of a session with Nana Lind @lun.art.ics in Copenhagen. We used to meetup often and share songs, sing, laugh and experiment. One night this loop came and I knew it was special. A week later the song wrote itself. Was pure magic.

Had a great time checking out @telepathic.instruments new Orchid synth today with @benlonks
The synth is quite fun for idea generation and is a beast with chords. One takeaway was how satisfying it is to move a chord from a 9th to a Major 🤓. I was in heaven just riffing away on this thing. It does loads and is a beautiful product. Very cool that they had a pop up event in SoHo - perfect way to start a weekend!
Fired up this old friend over the weekend to reacquaint myself with the lush 90’s goodness it provides.
Bought this in the early 2000’s in NYC and it is packed with so much joy. You can make amazing patches, it’s one knob-per-function -so no menu diving, it has incredible organ sounds, and also some crazy drum sounds. Endless potential… and it’s that beautiful Nord red ❤️
