Avoiding winter for a little while out in Barbados 🌊🌴 I’ve been putting the @outerknown Apex trunks to the test in the surf. Quick blast on the new @formsurfboards Nuggy during last months @newquayactivitycentre ISIC instructor course training. A lot of people ask me for board advice especially something that will help them progress in our waves. The Nuggy’s speed and drive through even the hardest sections (see last clip) is a great example of a surfboard allowing the rider to maximise wave time no matter how poor the conditions. What’s Stokesy Riding? 🔥 We asked @formsurfboards test-pilot @alan_stokes to run through the three boards living in his day-to-day quiver right now… Mod Pro - The go-to all-rounder. Packs heaps of volume (35.8L in Stokesy’s 6’0) for easy paddling and wave catching, but with that pulled-in pintail it comes alive when the waves get punchier.
