‘Be free’ is my first spoken word piece, dedicated to the beauty of God and His creation. It was written during a rebirth; scribing whatever God wanted to flow through me in a moment of His presence.

exactly 1 year ago that my first ever poetry book was self-published. 👩🏻🏫📝
i don’t have much to say but the growth that’s taken place in my life since i published this book. publishing a poetry book was never on my radar, but someday it just clicked that all my journal scribbles should be materialised into something tangible. something i could look back on in years to come. something i could reminisce on and use it as a marker of my growth in my life. something that could help others in their own walks of love and loss.
that something became: blooming and blossoming 🌞
the book will now remain forever. but i’ll never get to live the version of me that went on this journey again. she is no more. gone is her cocoon. i cherish every part of her and give her the biggest hug for all she endured. i am so proud of her. she blossomed into a beautiful butterfly. it’s so bittersweet to see her fly away.
i hope my words can give you hope, faith, joy, comfort and deep connection to your own essence and journey home.

there’s something so exciting about leaving these letters in the most seemingly random places; benches, tables, window sills, outside cafe’s, parks and so forth… not having a clue as to who might pick one up. it seems a lot of curious souls have been intrigued…
if you did find one of these letters, i hope that it brings you a smile, maybe a memory of someone, feeling of nostalgia, and maybe you pass it onto someone else to experience.
i’m so happy that quite a few photos have been sent to me of the letters they found. i wasn’t expecting there to be so many already. i can’t wait for these letters to reach more people.
