Three votive monoliths on the Kingship of Christ:
Infinite in glory, yet emptied in the Incarnation.
One sacrifice, made forever present in the Mass.
Judgment, held with infinite mercy.
Stone, screen, and prayer.

Stone Carved, GFX Typographic Specimen:
Part of three votive monoliths that offer a tripartite, non-secuential meditation on the unique antipodal character of the Kingship of Christ.
1. His Glory, being infinite (having no beginning or end), yet emptied of all glory by His temporal incarnation on earth.
2. His Sacrifice, offered once in time, yet made always present in the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
3. His Judgment, being just and firm, yet balanced by His infinite mercy when we seek to amend our hearts.

Monumental type specimen for “GFX Maximilian,” an Arduino revival of Johannes Neudörffer’s Fraktur hand (1515 | Holy Roman Empire). The micro computer encased in the monumental type specimen displays the final words of Blessed Fr. Miguel Pro immediately before his execution in 1927 by government officials (1923 | Mexico): “¡Viva Cristo Rey! / Ave Christus Rex!” The specimen highlights Fr. Miguel Pro’s final action, an audible instance somewhere between meleté (meditation) and hesychia (stillness/contemplation) (Desert Fathers | 3–4 c. AD).

Took an almost impossible job in the middle of the semester to cut a hard-to-see Belgian Black Marble in NYC. Eternally grateful to @letramuertainc for letting me borrow their studio and @megansmithart for being such a dazzling collaborator. Shout out to @a_b__b___a____s for creating such cool work.
