It’s a heavy time, and pretending otherwise doesn’t feel right.
As a small business owner, it hits in quiet ways… delayed decisions, paused projects, uncertainty in conversations that used to feel easy. Not dramatic… but constant.
And yet… there’s something powerful here.
Clients still show up. Suppliers still try their best, even when things are unpredictable. People support, refer, check in. There’s a sense of we’re all in this together that you don’t always see.
This city, this community… it adapts, it holds, it keeps moving, with grace.
So yes, it’s a challenging moment. But it’s also a reminder of why we build, create, and support each other in the first place.
