What an incredible few days it’s been introducing Homage to the Square by @mutinaceramics to the Pacific Northwest! We were honored to welcome Andrea Bacchini, CEO of Mutina, who shared the inspiring design journey behind this remarkable collection created in collaboration with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation.
Fresh from its debut at Milan Design Week, Homage to the Square is one of Mutina’s newest collections, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll begin stocking this truly one-of-a-kind material later this summer.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to learn more about this exciting launch, along with several other beautiful @mutinaceramics collections we offer. Special thanks as well to @formandfunctionpdx for lending their stunning home accessories, which perfectly complemented the collections and helped create an inspiring, cohesive atmosphere.
We hope everyone left feeling as excited and energized by Mutina and Homage to the Square as we are. Stay tuned for more details on this new collection and other offerings from Mutina!

I love the glimpses into people’s lives when they share a “monthly dump”, so I figured I’d give it a try. We’ll see how many months I can actually stick with it… haha
April: Went back home to Vermont, traveled back with rocks from Nicaragua, stood in line for creemees. Painted a house, shot an airstream, practicing my green thumb, took the pups for some summer-like walks. Showed some pretty houses, cookbook club, birthday celebrations, birthday gifted myself some beautiful new coffee tables, impromptu neighborly surprise, pickled at a sweet new spot.
This was actually yesterday but who actually really cares 🙃 Trying to make my own joy these days even if it’s making silly reels.

Everything we create is a conduit for the ultimate thing: to bring more beauty and connection for all of us. When our vision is clear, our process is clear: the hours of thoughtful design, the intentional choosing of materials, the careful craftsmanship in bringing the products to life.
Heiday Home is in pursuit of gathering, of time together around the table. Nourishment. We believe beauty and connection begin at home and it’s such a joy seeing it happen in yours. This is just the beginning - sneak peek the last slide for what’s coming ahead ❤️

A subtle way to complement the muted green in Cordeaux Olive and the natural movement of Epoque Calacatta Bamboo is with organic accessories. @formandfunctionpdx ’s Erode Soap in White Grapefruit and ring-stacked oak candle holder add texture while supporting a sense of softness and balance.

Pairing tile with restored pieces brings a sense of warmth and intention to a space. One-of-a-kind finds, like @formandfunctionpdx ’s oak Danish dining chair by Henning Kjærnulf, add character and history, while Homey White Matte introduces a dimensional texture that feels both elevated and timeless.

Tile Through the Decades: Classic Styles Reimagined
In 1950s and 1960s bathroom design, cheerful color coordination took center stage. Homey Mustard is one of our most cheerful tiles, reimagining the warm colors and textures that defined this era. Like Homey, while the aesthetic of the era remained minimalist, designers of the time paid close attention to detail, creating spaces that felt both lively and thoughtful.
