A long time in the making.
This March, Forma launches in the depths of The Island - a focused night of forward-leaning club music rooted in pressure, texture and physical sound. For the opening edition we’re honoured to invite Rhyw to Bristol, alongside Yushh and Dom Carlo.
@rhyw__ ’s music moves like liquid mercury - slick, mutable and playfully disobedient. One half of Fever AM with Mor Elian, he fuses ultra-modern techno, broken rhythm and modular grit, slipping into otherworldly spaces while never fully leaving the dancefloor. His synaesthetic sound design and razor-sharp selections balance intricacy with impact, pulling you onto the floor almost involuntarily - keeping the body in motion while the mind drifts elsewhere.
Support comes from
@yushh____ - a Bristol favourite figurehead carving out a singular space in contemporary club music. Deeply informed by soundsystem culture, her sets thrive on contrast and momentum - low-end pressure, shifting rhythms and atmosphere that make every turn feel alive and in motion.
Setting the tone are
@dom__carlo and
@_severine____ . Sub-low pressure, stripped-back percussion and metallic textures at the forward fold of bass music - precise, restrained and built for the system.
