In January of this year, Tucker suffered from an impact induced stroke while chasing Aly around our house. Within three hours, he lost full control of his body & was a quadriplegic. The vets all thought he’d recover, so they urged us to continue with our regular routine to motivate him to walk again. So… we carried him through the streets of Tijuana, took him off-roading in the mountains, did hydrotherapy in the Sea of Cortez, and most importantly, gave him all of the cuddles, treats, and love. Now he’s fully recovered, can walk again, and has a whole new love for life (as do both of us). It was an uphill battle for a long time but we are truly so humbled and thankful to be surrounded by such caring friends & family. It took a village and we spend everyday in gratitude. ❤️
Turns out 8 days in the backcountry doesn’t make you a better dancer. But vibes were at an all time high and that’s all that matters 🤠 #bwca #boundarywaters

Summer Camping: where the sun goes down after 8pm, your sun kissed face warms in the glow of the fire, and the music is simply the birds chirping and trees swaying in the wind.
Today marks two years since Tucker had his stroke! From being a quadriplegic to fully walking & running again is truly a miracle. The past two years has felt like we have a new lease on life. Our adventure buddy is going to be nine next week and it’s wild to think of all of the experiences we’ve shared with him. So lucky and extremely grateful 🫶🏼
