Why the BTRC? A SWAT unit reached out asking for a solution to cover the pike on their halligans in a way that would protect the end user. We took this on because for anyone who's carried breaching tools in dynamic environments, especially going hands on, you know that the tool can become a serious hazard.
What we ended up with was a solution that protects the end user and the tool, offers retention without presenting a snag hazard, and has a removable handle making it easy to access.
The two sizes provide an option for pretty much every major breaching tool on the market and the construction is built to last a ton of abuse.

The Breaching Tool Retention Cover (BTRC) provides end-user protection, tool protection, and retention for a wide range of mechanical breaching tools.
Designed based on a unit requirement to provide a flexible option for protecting and securing mechanical breaching tools, the BTRC works across all common mechanical breaching tools including Halligans, Hammers, Bolt Cutters, Wedges, and their derivatives. The BTRC is designed to mount to any breaching tool pouch, including our TNT Pouchâ„¢, back panel, plate carrier or other means of carriage as well as directly to breaching tools.
The Rigid Insert System is our line of hook backed, @pfscurv stiffened elastic inserts that offer superior retention and multi layered organization across a wide range of panels, pouches and placards.
