entering our terrible twos with a lot of love and an abundance of gratitude !!! thank you thank you thank you from these three tiny humans, it’s been a real sprinkle-filled joyous couple of years 💘😘🥳
sometimes we make things that we just wanna eat, and we aren’t totally sure if it’ll land with the public, but how could this one not??
a fan favorite across the counter— chocolate trifle!! two layers fudgy chocolate cake, vanilla bean mascarpone whip, salty caramel ! sometimes hot fudge! sometimes chocolate cremeux! always a delight. in the fridge whenever we need a little pick me up.
everyone keeps being like “the bakery’s only two??!” to the point that we started sweating about the possibility we sent gerald (@smallworksdetroit ) the wrong copy, so you can only imagine the horror when we picked these up and he goes, “i thought the bakery was turning three?!”
it has only been two years. but it also kinda feels like forever! we’ll be here till we’re not, which is how life usually goes for most of us, ya know.
celebrating two turns around the sun on saturday, april 18th. there will be cake, sprinkles on everything, another delightful poster for all you collectors, and probably some discourse on how time isn’t real— gotta enjoy it while you can!!!

some housekeeping and tuesday ramblings from the office (aka the costco parking lot)
we spent the morning @kazkaracoffee sniffing, sipping and talking about coffee — leaving buzzy and inspired by a great group of people who are thoughtful and intentional in their practice and what they’re sharing with the community. a joy!
we’ve got two more weeks ahead of us before we close (4/23 through 5/2 back open 5/7) while our roof gets worked on.
what else? big spring cleaning sale on retail items, carrot cake is back, rumors are some merch is arriving today, it’s our 2nd birthday next week (4/18) !! surely there’s more, but who’s reading all this??
