ZAÏRE SPACE PROGRAM ACT II – At the intersection of genres—blending a coming-of-age narrative, philosophical reflection and a documentary-style dive into Kinshasa’s alternative arts scene—Zaïre Space Program, a nod to the space program developed by Mobutu in the late 1980s, explores the intertwined roles of art and technology in shaping new African paradigms.
Presented by Moonshine, a post-border, multidisciplinary collective based in Montreal, Canada, the film is released in conjunction with the album SMS for Location, Vol. 6. Known for creating immersive lunar-themed events, music, apparel, and film rooted in African and electronic club culture
The film will be available for screening from May 2 until the next full moon on May 17 via Moonshine.mu.
