In Moldova, the UK is working with the Government of Moldova, @unfpa and partners to support safe spaces, survivor care and protection - including for those affected by displacement from Ukraine.
Foreign Secretary @yvettecooper.mp saw how this work provides dignity, safety and support - ensuring people are not alone.
That’s why the UK is providing £7.85 million in humanitarian funding this year to support Ukrainian refugees and vulnerable Moldovan communities.

UK Armed Forces personnel have carried out a daring parachute operation to deliver critical medical support to Tristan da Cunha – Britain’s most remote inhabited Overseas Territory 🪂
The operation saw specialist paratroopers and military clinicians from 16 Air Assault Brigade jump from an RAF A400M, supported by Voyager, alongside the air drop of vital oxygen supplies and medical equipment.
With no airstrip and access only by boat, an airborne insertion was the fastest way to support the island following confirmation of a suspected Hantavirus case.
A joint military operation between @BritishArmy and @RoyalAirForceUK , our Armed Forces are ready to respond rapidly in support of urgent humanitarian and medical requirements across the globe.

After nearly 100 years, baby Roo has been reunited with Kanga and the rest of his friends from the Hundred Acre Woods. 🍯
Roo has been lost from Christopher Robin’s original collection of toys since the 1930s, and now thanks to the team at @merrythoughtbears , the last remaining teddy bear manufacturer in England, they were able to recreate the original Roo before sending him off on a Royal Adventure. ✈️
With a little help from Her Majesty Queen Camilla, Roo has been reunited with his friends at the @NYPL where the original stuffed animals that inspired A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh can be viewed on display at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building in New York City.
