From wall-to-wall drifts to palm-tree skylines, Long Beach is considered one of the most iconic stops on the Formula DRIFT tour. Fast, narrow and unforgiving, the race takes place on city streets and sets the pace for the rest of the season.

For the Ford Mustang® 50th anniversary, the sixth-generation vehicle earned more controls than ever while maintaining its classic, race-inspired design.
Up to 20 buttons were integrated into the steering wheel, controlling everything from adaptive cruise control to SYNC® functionality. Plus, the first introduction of paddle shifters on an automatic transmission.
Ford Mustang® steering wheels have always evolved with the driver in mind.
In the early years, function and comfort were the focus, introducing tilt-away wheels with multiple adjustment points. Wiper, light and cruise controls also moved to the wheel, allowing drivers to never lift a hand.
As the years progressed, performance took center stage. The wheel evolved into a more track-inspired design with a thicker rim and smaller diameter, giving it a sportier look and feel.

In March, the whole stable stormed Sebring.
Alongside Le Mans and Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring is considered one third of endurance racing’s big three.
So it’s only right that a triple threat of Ford Mustang® was on display with the GT3, GT4 and Dark Horse® R all taking on the tormenting track.
Not wanting to feel left out, the Ford Mustang® GTD and Dark Horse® SC also made an appearance, completing the set.
At 12 Hours of Sebring, you have to endure more than just time.
Last month, the Ford Mustang® GT3, GT4 and Dark Horse® R took on the former B-17 bomber base’s barrage of bumps, sticky heat and uneven track.
It may be rough, but the Sebring experience is a perfect proving ground for Mustang, testing each car’s capability under sustained extreme conditions.
