@howieshapes and I chat with @samtehanshapes from @force9boards about the misconception many people have about creating surfboards using Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs.
Many think shapers simply input length, width and thickness to create their perfect board. Each surfboard design file is created individually and once a file is created then you can modify the dimensions.
We chat about people trying to design their own files, the importance of knowing the blanks you intend to use and that some of the ‘Top’ shapers cannot design their own files.
