3.1-hr video call, I’ll go through my feedback with you. This gives you the opportunity for your input and brainstorming together. �4. My notes will be sent to you immediately following our call.��OPTION 2 - In-Person Consult: $150 (plus studio fee)

ABOUT ME:
Força’s specialty is thoughtful performance analysis, a skill she has studied and taken from textbook to stage. She boasts a background in studio theatre training from York University focused on Devised Theatre and Stage Design, and recently completed a PhD from the University of Toronto focused on burlesque performance analysis. Força has taught sold-out workshops focused on critically consuming and developing cabaret acts. Her keen eye for character development and dramaturgy has taken her to some of the most coveted burlesque stages, including Sin City Fest, Teaser Fest, & the Burlesque Hall of Fame, where she will be again competing for the prestigious title of M Exotic World! Now, she’ll be offering her trained eye, considerate approach, and thoughtful critique to help you bring your act to the next level!

Força here! @toburlesquefest applications are open and those sweet sweet videos are rolling in. But what makes a great festival application video? What are festival adjudicators worldwide (not just at TBF!) expecting to see? If you want to give your vision a chance to shine and translate amidst a sea of other applicants, here’s a beginner friendly breakdown that helps you understand what the basic expectations are.

As we are plunged into what feels like global devastation and times of acute fear and threat — I am reminded of the importance of banding together in these pockets of world making, designing for ourselves what honour, love, and being together in a moment of revelry. Creating a moment where we find transcendence, and where we prove it is still possible.
