Drawing on his immediate experiences, the spectacle of domesticity, chance encounters and emotional and physical dramas, Christensen writes lyrics that he later powerfully performs in self-made extravagant drag, she sings and screams the theatricality of everyday life and its emotional dramas.
RAEL(UK)
London-based experimental hip-hop artist from London marrying text based music (rap, spoken word, poetry) with warped experimental beats. His sound world is heavy, dark and intense, drawing from electronic/post-dub, analog hip-hop, and trip-hop.
Alice Köppel (CH)
Switzerland based artist that reaches for the stars - and seemingly casually becomes a superstar in the process. Nonchalantly shouting and staggeringly dancing in squiggles, she explores what it means to have a voice, or much rather: to give oneself a voice.
Anna Franziska Jäger (BE)
Maroussia falls in love with a young man she danced with all night. At midnight, she follows him to church and sees him devouring a corpse. Anna Franziska makes a performance based on the poem Molodets or De jongen, le Gars, the Swain (1924) by Marina Tsvetaeva, who was inspired by an old Russian folktale.
