Black Lavender & FOQUE tinham encontro marcado na Casa Capitão, a 11 de Dezembro do ano passado, mas quando foi convocada uma greve geral para esse dia, cancelaram – e bem. Decidiu-se logo na altura que voltariam em Abril, mas entretanto aquele concerto, centrado nas canções do álbum “Pigeon Man”, de 2024, deixou de fazer sentido. Pelas melhores razões.
Depois de uma residência de seis semanas em Castelo de Paiva com o brasileiro B Ghost, convidado de honra de “Pigeon Man” e parceiro de Brotha CJ (outrora Black Lavender) nos estúdios Early July, o duo é agora um trio e responde pelo nome NÃOBODY. O resultado dessas sessões vai ouvir-se dentro de poucos dias, em “CAZA PRIMAVERA”, a editar no equinócio homónimo, com uma segunda parte a sair no Outono.
Ouvidas as primeiras faixas, podemos garantir que o FOQUE e o rapper norte-americano Brotha CJ continuam a mover-se pelas mesmas coordenadas; o seu hip-hop cercado por guitarras indie e baixos funky, o r&b mais lânguido e a soul ao virar da esquina. Mas B Ghost traz novas texturas e outra segurança às canções. E temos a sorte de acolher a sua estreia ao vivo em Lisboa, a 23 de Abril, no Sótão da Casa.
