From the first demo Matt sent my way, I knew it was a masterpiece. Our first recording for this album was in 2023. Fast forward to 2026, and this body of music has turned into something I couldn’t even imagine. Each session was a meeting of the minds, trying to perfect the grooves and bring the sound to life. So many talented drummers in the world, I don’t take for granted the privilege of having received the call to play on this project.

It’s one thing to have an idea; it’s another to see it through. This album has been a two-year journey, crucial process in shaping the sound. Late nights, Monday night football, smoothies in the basement, and mixing sessions that turned into life conversations were all part of the experience. Damaged hard drives were simply more ingredients for this album.
