Finally got one of those beautiful Vermont spring days. The fiddleheads are fiddling 🌿, the cows are cowing 🐄, and I mapped out a long run with just enough little streams to keep dunking my Offgrid hat in along the way. Twas a good day.

Running trails you’ve never seen before is fun. And a little challenge, you don’t know what’s coming, you might take a wrong turn, and sometimes that’s exactly the point.
But when I can have something under control, I like to have it.
That’s why I used Footpath to build my training routes for @bucovinaultrarocksbyutmb . New terrain, unfamiliar trails, I load the GPX, I know where I’m going, and I can just focus on running.
Just me and the trail.

This weekend’s Point Mugu 21k and 10k courses are expertly marked, but some areas of our local mountains have limited cell service. To prepare for your best race day, download the Footpath route and save it to your device to follow the turn-by-turn voice guidance all the way to the finish line!!
Measure distance and elevation to know exactly how far and high you’ll travel for each section of the course. See you at the startline!!

Desert Peak Ultra started off with a bang. 💥 Straight up Mount Lemmon (9,159 ft), the highest point in the Santa Catalina Range.
The climb is no joke, steep, rugged, and quickly reminds you who’s in charge out here. The payoff? Unreal views overlooking Tucson and a Lemmon-Aid Station 🍋
We love Type 2 fun!
We know, we know… another app to download. 🙃 But trust us, this is one you’ll keep using.
Footpath is proud to partner with Desert Peak Ultra for all your navigational needs — because confidence is good… but the actual route is better. 😏🌵🗺️

#ad | One thing I’ve learned hiking in the mountains: reaching a fork with no signal isn’t a problem — as long as you’ve planned ahead.
I loaded the route on @footpathapp , downloaded it offline, and synced it straight to my Apple Watch. No stress, no phone in hand on the trail.
This is how I plan my outings now. 🗺️
Forging footsteps in the snow. Just as in life, when adventuring, there is a lot of uncertainty. When everything is blanketed in white… we find our way.
As a coach and adventure guide, it’s important to have tools in the toolbox that I can rely on and one that I use on every adventure is @footpathapp . I love that you can edit the route on the fly and always have the confidence of knowing where you’re at and where you’re going!

Back to training in Athens this week and thanks to @footpathapp they’ve started calling me the Classic City Route Artist around here (can be shortened to CCRA). Here are the places I’ve been running
