SENIOR SHOUT-OUT! We would like to introduce you to our fearless leader, Dr. @tsully_22 ❤️ Tyler is a 4-year choral program veteran who has sung in every ensemble we offer AND served in leadership positions AND is our student director this year. She is invaluable, talented, genuine, kind, poised, professional, and outstanding in every way. She will be SO MISSED. I remember we went to the senior center with vocal jazz and a lady came up to us and told us we made her cry. It meant a lot to me that we made so much of an impact! It’s also always really fun to leave school in the middle of the day : ) Also? Hawaii. 🎵What will you miss most about Foothill? Hands down, choir…almost all of my closest friends are the people who I’ve been singing with since freshman year. I love all of you with my whole heart, and I’m going to miss you so much next year. ❤️ 🎵3 things you can’t live without? My friends, my Spotify account, and cheddar jalapeño cheetos 🎵Plans for after Foothill? I’m going to NYU as a music education major! 🎵Advice to your younger self? No one cares!! Don’t miss out on things because you’re scared of how you’ll look or be perceived. It’s so easy to feel like you’re being judged by everyone, but no one is paying that close attention. Audition for things, voice your opinions, say the joke you’re thinking…it’s all going to be okay. 🎵Anything you want to add? Join choir!! 💙💛💙

These are the things that come to mind when we think of our sweet Pips, and now it’s time to make her a ⭐️ Read more about the pip of the litter below… 🎵Name: Pippa Hodgins 🎵Favorite Foothill Memory? My favorite memory would be meeting friends and eating breakfast in the back of my car during hybrid learning. It was so fun to talk to everybody and wake up for the school day with the sun, cookies, and breakfast bagels. 🎵What will you miss most about Foothill? The thing I will miss most would be the people. I have made lifelong friends at Foothill, and they have all impacted my life in countless ways. I am so deeply thankful for every day I get to spend and be around them ❤️ 🎵3 things you can’t live without? My lil doggo, Winston, my emotional support water bottle, and my puns 🎵Plans for after Foothill? I plan on attending Oregon State University and majoring in BioResource Research with a focus in animal science, and snowboarding as much as possible in my dino onesie 😎 🎵Advice to your younger self? Try everything and experience as much as possible. Also, everyone is awkward, so be awkward confidently. 💛💙💛

SENIOR SHOUT-OUT! This is @suhani.dhar ❤️ Suhani is another 4-year senior in the Choral Program, who is an incredible musician, leader, and friend. She works so hard, and she also might have the most fun of all of us. We will miss her 🔥 personality and ⭐️ quality FOREVER. 🎵Name: Suhani Dhar 🎵Favorite Foothill Memory? All the adventures I have been on, such as DECA trips to Disneyland, Choir trip to Hawaii, club events, and goofing off and having the best time with my peers, everywhere I go. 🎵What will you miss most about Foothill? I will miss coming to choir class and seeing everybody chatting up in the classroom as they are getting their music. 🎵3 things you can’t live without? Music (duhh), Family/Friends, Monayyy $$$ 🎵Plans for after Foothill? I will be attending UC Riverside and pursuing a career in Business Management and Marketing. 🎵Advice to your younger self? SENIOR SHOUT-OUT! This is @hiraraghavan 💙 Hira is another 4-year member of the Choral Program, who has brought her beautiful voice, warm spirit, and overwhelming kindness to every class. So, “Hira” we present…Hira! 😉 🎵 Name: Hira Raghavan 🎵 Favorite Foothill Memory? Making friends every year in choir, seeing Seussical and cheering on the cast, and watching friends’ sports games! 🎵 What you will miss most about Foothill? Choir concerts were always my favorite events at Foothill. Singing for an audience, whether live or virtual, always had a way of cheering me up and allowing me to see my fellow peers shine musically! I’m definitely going to miss participating in the concerts as well as the entire choir family. Being in choir not only made me a better musician, but truly a better person, and I will always cherish the 4 years I spent in such a great program! 🎵 3 things you can’t live without? Music, friends, and horror movies 🎵 Plans for after Foothill? Studying Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmD) at The Ohio State University! 🎵 Advice to your younger self? Don’t be afraid to make new friends! You can find the best of friends in people you least expect, so don’t judge anybody before getting to know them. 🎵 Anything you want to add? Choir has, hands down, been the best class I have taken in my 4 years of high school! I’m incredibly grateful to have found a community of such accepting, friendly, and musically gifted people!

This Reyes of sunshine is full of positivity and sass, and we will miss her so dearly! 🎵Name: Dani Reyes 🎵Favorite Foothill Memory? Probably coming back on the first day of senior year and seeing everyone for the first time in almost 2 years. It was really cool to officially see everyone in-person and not on Zoom. 🎵What will you miss most about Foothill? The Choir Program and the people I’ve met over the last four years 🎵3 things you can’t live without? Starbucks, my dog, lip balm 🎵Plans for after Foothill? I plan on attending Las Positas College and majoring in Film Studies in the fall. After I receive my Associates Degree, I will be transferring to a four-year college. I’m currently looking at CSULB, UCLA, and USC. 🎵Advice to your younger self? You gotta take it one day at a time, my love. We love you, Dani! 💙💛💙

Senior Shout-Out! This is @_beatricialam 💙 Beatricia came to us as an awesome instrumentalist and has become an integral team member in the Choral Program. She is kind, well-spoken, fun to be around, an amazing friend, and also has a killer podcast @sspaced.out We will miss her smile and her heart. Read more about Bea bea-low! 😉 🎵Name: Beatricia Lam 🎵Favorite Foothill Memory? “Ditching” school with friends to eat clam chowder in SF 🎵What will you miss most about Foothill? The people and the events (football games and dances) 🎵3 things you can’t live without? Family/friends, internet, music 🎵Plans for after Foothill? Majoring in Physiological Sciences at UC Irvine (while simultaneously pursuing music as a hobby through an a cappella/choral group) and hopefully becoming a pediatric PA in the future! 🎵Advice to your younger self? Stress out less - it’s okay to take a break from school and have fun once in a while. Stop being influenced by others and be yourself. Don’t force yourself to take difficult courses in subjects you are bad at in an attempt to look better for college applications (it won’t work). 🎵Anything you want to add? If anyone, no matter what grade you are in, is even the tiniest bit interested in joining a music program at Foothill, I highly suggest you join in and try it out. You never know what to expect. My favorite memory would definitely be choir freshman and senior year and getting to bond and become a family with all these people! 🎵What will you miss most about Foothill? I’ll miss being able to see my friends every day as well as some of the teachers that I’ve grown closer with throughout my four years at Foothill. 🎵3 things you can’t live without? Music, Food, and Books 🎵Plans for after Foothill? Going to college at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and hopefully being able to go to grad school after and get my PhD. My dream is to one day become a therapist and I hope to achieve that goal! 🎵Advice to your younger self? I would tell myself that everything will work out in the end. There are going to be hard times and a lot of things are going to change, but in the end it’ll all be for the best. 💙💛💙
