A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a tale of love, magic, and mischief. The story follows four young lovers who flee into the woods, where they encounter a feuding fairy king and queen, a playful fairy named Puck, and a group of well-meaning amateur actors from the village. With a splash of love potion and a lot of confusion, hearts are tangled, identities are mixed up, and nothing goes quite according to plan. 🧚🏻♂️
All shows begin at 7pm! ✨

Did you know theatre inspires over 2 millions Canadians annually through live performances for young audiences? We are so proud to be part of this major impact on Canadian youth with our annual School Tour of an original work, as well as our Fools in Schools workshops! But even if we weren’t able to make it to your school, our Shakespeare in the Park tour is always a family friendly affair. We can’t wait to continue creating an impact this summer in our local parks. Will we see you there? 👀
We are so excited to announce that on April 1st, a permanent street sign for voie Fools Way will be mounted at the corner of Range Rd and Laurier Ave! (No, this isn’t an early April Fools joke, we promise!)

Fun Fact: when Shakespeare’s plays were first performed, women weren’t allowed on stage (rude).
A few centuries later, women are stage manager, directors, actors, designers... just generally proving the theatre (and the world) is much better when everyone has a seat at the table.
This International Women’s Day, we’re raising a toast to the brilliant women—past, present, and future—who make the world bolder, brighter, and a whole lot more interesting (and of course, Foolish).
The Understudies is BACK! ✨ When a theatre troupe finds out that their star actor has gone missing they must find a replacement – and quickly! This hilarious and fast-paced misadventure features a Company of Fools performing some of Shakespeare’s greatest scenes alongside lucky “understudies” from the audience.
Join us on March 8th at 2:00pm for our Public Performance @allsaintsottawa for an afternoon of Foolish antics! Reserve your seats with the link in our bio!
Want to bring the fun the the next level? Let your hair down and grab a drink at the bar at Shakespeare After Dark: The Understudies, also on March 8th at allsaints, but after the sun goes down at 7:30pm. This event is a fundraiser event, and Pick-Your-Price tickets are available now! Have a night of laughs, drinks, and maybe a sonnet or two, all while supporting your neighbourhood Fools ✨ Ticket link in our bio!
