🌽 Maison De Cuivre 🍇
Our first go with @reservoirdistillery , Maison De Cuivre. 100% corn whiskey finished in burgundy wine cask. We came across this bottle on a work trip a few weeks back and glad we picked it up.
The finish gives a dark and rich color with a good balance of fruity and grainy notes. Love to see quality products like this being distilled in Virginia!

Working with Shu at @liquorwarehouse21 has had plenty of perks, and being able to help him select awesome Single Barrels has been so much fun.
We're drinking our way through our Eagle Rare store pick and decided to pour some ER17yr with it. Sometimes it's nice to drop the proof a bit and have a few pours and talk about upcoming picks.

While Jim Beam isn't in our top 3 or 4 distilleries overall, their limited releases and anniversary bottles can be very good!
The Booker's 30th Anniversary bottle falls into that category and we're happy we snagged a backup. While not as good as the first Booker's The Reserves release, it delivers on the classic Beam profile, but elevated.

Whenever we can get our hands on our favorite mashbill aged to 15+ yrs, we get excited.
This 15yr Tokaji finished 75/13/12 had a very attractive pricepoint, and was our first go with @ampersandspirits . We went in not knowing what to expect, but this is a very good bottle!
The age, proof, and finish all worked really well and is one of the very few times a unique bottle shape actually contains very good whiskey!
We'll be grabbing a backup to this bottle at @liquorwarehouse21 and look forward to future Ampersand releases!

Westward Milestone annual releases are something we look forward to every year.
2025's Edition No.3 is phenomenal. Though Edition No.2 edged it out in a blind with all 3 releases, it was close and is easily one of our favorite pours from 2025.
Edition No.4 can't get here soon enough! If anyone is looking for some of the best American Single Malt on the market, @westwardwhiskey Milestone releases are near impossible to beat!
