Let us re-introduce ourselves.
A fresh look, the same mission, creating a world where no good food goes to waste.
Become part of a global movement that turns perfectly good surplus food into stronger communities.

We asked students a simple question: can you spot surplus food?
Most people think it looks different⊠but the truth is, surplus food is perfectly good food, itâs just extra at risk of going to waste!
This #EarthDay, itâs a reminder that tackling food waste can start with small shifts in how we think.
Through the @aibireland FoodCloud Community Meals Programme, meals like this help turn surplus into something meaningful, connecting communities and making sure good food is shared, not wasted.
Something weâre proud to be part of.
đ„ A brilliant day at the Lidl Supplier Summit with @lidlireland
We loved meeting suppliers, sharing how FoodCloud helps businesses reduce food waste, and chatting about building a more sustainable food system together, thanks to everyone who stopped by our stall!

At Ranelagh Community Response surplus food is turned into something more.
Meals lead to connection and these together form stronger communities.
We are proud to support community partners like RCR every day.

Itâs Stop Food Waste Day đ
The food we buy, cook, and throw away? It all adds up.
But the good news, small changes can make a BIG difference!
Plan it, store it, use it đ

Weâre proud to be SDG Champions alongside @communityfoundationireland working together to deliver real, lasting impact across communities in Ireland.
For over a decade, this partnership has helped us redistribute perfectly good surplus food where itâs needed most. We are strengthening communities, together, because the biggest challenges canât be solved alone.

INSIDE THE STUDENT-LED FOOD HUB AT UCCâŠ
[ See đ in Bio + Stories ]
Some stories are simply inspiring - this is one of them. Cian Walsh & Sumaya Mohammed are the founders of UCCâs Students Union Food Pantry - a student-led service that redistributes 700kg of food waste a week to their fellow students in partnership with @foodcloud . In the process, students get to actively participate in a mutually beneficial climate action, and gain agency of choice by being part of a âfeel good spaceâ providing access to food to bolster their weekly larder. Here, judgement is left at the door, food is a climate action, and no-one is left to choose between studying and eating.
The project is co-funded by UCCâs Alumni fund to subsidise ticket price for the students who use the service weekly.
My huge thanks to Cian & Sumaya - two young adults who are truly inspiring. My heart was moved watching in real time how, at its core, their idea is about caring for the welfare of their fellow students. Truly collegiate.
Enjoy this story. I like it a lot.

đ„ Feeding one of us streghtens all of us.
At @limerickisland , the kitchen is where everything begins. When access to high quality ingredients, like meat, often one of the most expensive items, became possible, it didnât just improve meals.
It reduced costs and freed up resources, allowing more investment into vital community supports.
From meals-on-wheels to training and wraparound services, food enables the wider work that strengthens communities.
This is the impact of redistribution!
A big Easter delivery just landed at our Dublin hub đŁ
Thanks to @marsglobal , these Easter eggs are already being sorted and sent out to community groups across Ireland, reaching people through local organisations who know their communities best.
Happy Easter đŒ
