That’s a wrap on SS26 NYFW 🤍
This season was extra special. It marked my 10th NYFW.
I still remember my very first show, 5 years ago, right after moving from San Diego to New York. I knew nothing about Fashion Week, but I was so excited just to be there. Fast forward to now, and NYFW continues to challenge me, inspire me, and remind me why I fell in love with fashion in the first place.
Yes, I still compare myself with others, and sometimes feel behind. But at the end of the day, my love for fashion always wins. IT WAS ALWAYS FASHION.
When I first came to the US, I had no friends but fashion gave me a community. When I was a student at FIT, I worked 200 hours a month for free. it was hard, but I never stopped because it was for fashion. This is what I want to dedicate my life to.
More than anything, I’m so grateful for every opportunity, for every person who has supported me, and for the chance to live in New York and keep chasing my dream🍎
