EL SILENCIO Y SU CANCIÓN In May 2023 I left London for good after a long period of "hard times" (those who know, know🥴). I spent about a year recovering. At the end of this recovery period I began to produce some new works. A bit of a mental melting pot of now, then, and everything in between, these three compositions encompass my state of being during that year of long overdue self-care. Enter @alejandrofernaandez the acclaimed director of the music videos of @marisoleichborn Catarsis, a project I produced at the end of my time in London (check it out if you haven't already). He was very into this concept of mine, and plus he owed me a favour (I made his website, I can make yours too😉), so long story short, we sat down and decided to make a short film together. In October 2024, Alejandro and @mellamanbuby flew over to Den Haag to make this project a reality with me, as well as the world's tiniest and best crew♥️ We are now sending it to film festivals and (slowly) trying to organise some private screenings (DM me if you're interested in coming :)) It's been a hell of a journey, but here me are :) I'll be posting more little clips soon, and later this year I'll release the sound track. 📀📀📀--- CATARSIS - MARISOL EICHBORN ---📀📀📀 In January 2022, I was having a very bad time. I was stuck in a nasty situation that I did not feel capable of getting out of; I felt trapped and alone. Then I met Marisol, and we found out that our mother's have exactly the same, rather specific name. She had a vision of a project about the cyclical nature of the human experience. I understood it on so many levels. Then she asked me to produce it, and all of a sudden I felt heard, valued, and seen. So began my cathartic experience. This experience is documented in this album, in a narrative way, a technical way, and a contextual way. Marisol is now like a sister to me, and I'm eternally grateful to her and all the other people who played a role in my journey (you know how you are). This release post would be entirely incomplete without mentioning Alejandro, the cheeky director of the short film accompanying this project. I printed these CD's back in 2022 and have finally gotten around to making and burning a CD master :') I have 21 of them, going for 10 euros each. Whatsapp me if you want one.

It's time. I spent last year finding myself again. It worked out pretty good. In the process, I composed three tracks. One about home and leaving, one about pain and circles, and one about forgiveness and acceptance. Then @alejandrofernaandez helped me make a short film about it.
