There are not enough words to describe the joy and happiness you bring to my life and the ones around you. The passion you have to bring people together is untameable and I am so lucky to be part of that.

Thank you for supporting my wildest self and always inspiring me to be myself. You have so much acceptance for humans being just plain humans and have taught me so much in how we are here to just do the best that we can do.

How I feel about turning 29 today.
Excited, nervous, thrilled, anxious, and overall in love with life.
This will be a year of conquering fears, working hard, and enjoying the simple things.
Thankful for all the ones I love who continue to support who I am and show up when I need them most, especially my husband.
Cheers to 29 🤯 I'm going to soak up this last year of my 20s as much as I can.

Avalon and Matt met at the final Sasquatch! Music Festival in 2018. So, when they started planning a wedding for 300 guests on a $20k budget, they built it inspired by their love of music, the 70s and festivals.
The ceremony took place lakeside at Elk Lake Resort, along the Cascade Lakes Highway in Oregon. They were going for a 1970s rock ‘n’ roll theme, pulling inspiration from Rock n Roll Bride magazine, actual weddings of the 70s, festivals, and their favourite band, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. The result felt like a weekend line-up rather than a formal wedding.
160 guests gathered at the lake and their ceremony altar framed the mountain they ski every winter. Avalon’s two older sisters walked her down the aisle to Oh Baby by LCD Soundsystem. Instead of a traditional cocktail hour afterwards, they had a popcorn bar for appetizers, and the couple hopped into a canoe and paddled away for a quiet moment alone.

I will never forget 2025.
In 2025:
● Married my best friend which was the most stressful thing I have ever done and also the BEST thing I have ever done. (The planning and build-up being stressful.)
● I went to 4 countries (Belize, Australia, Indonesia, & Thailand)
● Saw King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard 5 times at 3 amazing venues
● Worked two festivals (Treefort & Cascade Equinox)
● Went to Burning Man extremly last minute with gifted free tickets
● Attended and worked too many concerts to count
● Made new friends and strengthened old relationships
I am sad this year is over. It challenged me and made me feel more loved than I knew possible. THANK YOU to everyone that helped me through it and added to the amazing memories I will cherish forever.
I'm excited to chill and relax in 2026.

Dancing to Iron Lung inside the Sydney Opera House overlooking the harbour with an orchestra backing.
This was one of our favorite moments of our honeymoon. We both went out to pee and realized you could hear the show clearly from the entirely empty lobby.
Tired of sitting in a seat, Matt grabbed my hand and we danced to the final song of the King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard orchestra set.
We felt okay enjoying the last bits of that song together, ALONE, because we've seen Iron Lung a few times including its very first performance at Desert Daze before it was released on record.
Beautiful place, beautiful song, incredible memory.
