مريم (فُلّة) جرير هي فنانة أداء متعددة التخصصات، تعمل في مجالات التمثيل والحركة والأداء البصري. يتركّز عملها حول التجربة الإنسانية، مستكشفة العلاقة بين الجسد والمشاعر والهوية.
بدأت رحلتها بتدريب في الباليه في دار الأوبرا المصرية، إلى جانب خلفية في الفنون القتالية التنافسية، ما منحها حضورًا جسديًا قويًا في أدائها. كما تدربت على الرقص المعاصر، والممارسات الجسدية (Somatic)، وفن الكلاون، مما شكّل أسلوبًا يجمع بين التعبير والاتزان.
درست المسرح والأدب الإنجليزي وعلم النفس في الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، إلى جانب الإخراج في المعهد العالي للسينما، وتلقت تدريبها في مركز القاهرة للرقص المعاصر.
تنظر فُلّة إلى الأداء كمساحة للتواصل الصادق والعميق—على المسرح وأمام الكاميرا—حيث تواصل البحث في مدى قدرتنا على فهم أنفسنا والتواصل مع الآخرين.
Mariam (Folla) Garir is a multidisciplinary performing artist working across acting, movement, and visual performance. Her work centers on the human experience, exploring the connection between body, emotion, and identity.
With a foundation in ballet at the Cairo Opera House and a background in competitive martial arts, Folla brings a strong physicality to her performances. She has trained in contemporary dance, somatic practices, and clowning, shaping a style that is both expressive and grounded.
She studied Theatre, English Literature, and Psychology at the American University in Cairo, alongside directing at the High Cinema Institute and training at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre.
Folla approaches performance as a space for honest, raw connection—on stage and on screen—constantly exploring how deeply we can understand ourselves and relate to others.

وسط الحزن… دايمًا فيه لحظات نور.
بين نارين رحلة جوه الألم، بس كمان جوه التواصل بين الناس … محاولاتنا نفهم، نسامح، ونكمل رغم كل حاجة.
المسرحية بتفكرنا إن حتى لما الحياة بتكسرنا، بنلاقي جوانا قوة نرجّع نبني نفسنا من تاني… حتة حتة. لأن الأمل مش بيختفي… هو بس بيستنى نلاقيه من جديد.
تعرض المسرحية ضمن برنامج "العروض الأولى ٢ × البقية تأتي"؛ بالتعاون بين السفارة الفرنسية في مصر وشركة المشرق للإنتاج وبدعم من (FEF-Création).

“Between two poles” is an immersive theater play directed & adapted by Ahmed Radwan based on the play “Rabbit Hole” by David Lindsay-Abaire.
In the middle of grief, there are still moments of light.
Between two poles is a journey through pain, but also through connection… through the fragile, human attempts to understand, to forgive, and to move forward.
It reminds us that even when life breaks us, it also gives us the strength to rebuild—piece by piece.
This performance is part of the "Premières II x 2B Continued" program; a collaboration between the French Embassy in Egypt and Orient Productions, supported by the FEF-Création.

Waiting for that moment . . . when all the me(s) stopped arguing and all the l(s) went to rest.
When the endless howling of unspoken words ceased, when the only sound heard was that of the beating in my chest.
And as i drew my last breath, i remained still and gave in . . . to the silence. ✨
