This bridal bouquet is on a cross country tour. The wedding took place in Las Vegas, the custom framing was done in Vancouver and the finished piece is on its way to a home in Nova Scotia. It was delicate work but I am very happy with how it all turned out and I hope the young couple are pleased. The dried flowers were carefully sewn onto a fabric covered mat board and framed with a gilded silver moulding from @folkgraphis_frames .
A gentleman came in before Christmas looking for framing for a special art print. He was bold in his design ideas & had four frames to choose from and the result is this fox draped in a blue mat & framed in this green frame by Folkgraphis that when seen in person makes the whole image look 3 D.

“Droplets of oxygen caught up in the flow of their existence. No clue where the river will lead to next, no choice but to follow and ride the wave. I have a deep love for the element of water - our life source. The feeling I experience when I am near or in water continues to amaze me to this day. With a playful imagination of a child, I can see my entire life flow by in the water. I see myself as a child catching frogs with my cousins. I see the lake my grandma would take us to - to play in the clay and find sea-glass and eat berries from the trees. I remember thinking I could control the waves. I would throw rocks into the water and make waves as big as I could and be amazed how, somehow, a storm would always brew and make its way to shore. I believed I did that.”
This photograph reminds me to stay true to my happiest days and to surround myself with nature, family, adventure, curiosity and always, water.

This beauty turned out perfectly in the Dark Sky Moma line from @salvadoricornici It was on too thick a stretcher bar to use the Moma floater, so we instead used the 12014002 floater insert inside the 1601263 cap to create the finished product.
