After winning over audiences on ARTE and social media - with over 42 million views across all platforms đ„ - the French animated series created by Emilie Tronche is now heading to Netflix!
The series will be available on SVOD in France, the United States, Canada, Australia, Spain, and India.
Produced by Les Valseurs, ARTE, Pikkukala, Radiotelevisión Española, and 3Cat Corporatiu, Samuel features simple black-and-white illustrations and heartfelt voiceover narration. The show follows a 10-year-old boy as he navigates the everyday complexities of friendships, first crushes, and the big leap from elementary to middle school, with humor and poetry.

Guitar and Drum love to play, dance and make music together. Although they are very different from one another, they are best friends! They live in a small town with other instruments (and a pineapple!) where they have everyday adventures.
The show emphasizes the importance of embracing diversity and how differences make individuals special. Through various characters, it highlights themes such as positive self-esteem, empathy, friendship, and teamwork.
