🍵 I was so happy a few weeks ago to FINALLY try out @folake.co matcha drinks! 🥹❤️ They offer coffee, matcha, and homemade syrups, and have pop ups throughout the DMV area. I really loved the homemade plantain syrup and how well it went with the matcha flavor! The carmelized plantain topping was also the perfect treat. I also tried the Lagos Honeycomb Matcha and loved the honey cold foam and honeycomb garnish.

a little girl, her cousin, and the man who taught us to keep God first in everything. 🤍
my godfather passed away recently and this photo means even more to me now. he was one of the most faith-filled, graceful, and talented people I’ve ever known…truly the kind of person who left an impression on everyone he met. and if you knew him, you knew he could sing. 🕊️
I’m deeply saddened that I can’t make it to his homegoing this weekend due to prior event commitments, but I’ll be carrying his spirit with me through every event, every conversation, and every cup served.
he always believed in serving people with intention, showing up with excellence, and honoring God in whatever you do. that’s something I’ll carry forever.
