✨ PRATICHE, RICERCHE, STORIE E PERCORSI ✨ più di un anno fa abbiamo fatto un esperimento: aprire una chiamata pubblica per la community con l’idea di creare uno spazio dedicato interamente a voi e dare forma a una banca dati autonoma e indipendente! 🍒 nell’uscita di oggi ti racconto il lavoro di luca valentino🫶🏽 luca si è laureato in fotografia e video all’accademia di belle arti di roma e dopo gli studi si è lanciato nella sperimentazione di nuovi media e linguaggi (oltre alla fotografia utilizza anche suono, video, collage e scultura) fino ad arrivare a mescolare l’arte visiva con progettualità dalla dimensione più spaziale e relazionale. la sua pratica creativa è time-based e questo spinge la sua ricerca a concentrarsi sull’analisi del concetto di sé - in relazione all’io, agli altri e all’ambiente naturale|artificiale circostante - e di impermanenza. attraverso le sue opere vuole mettere in discussione la concezione tradizionale di errore e i moderni paradigmi di iper-performatività, cercando di adottare la modalità della sperimentazione artistica collaborativa come strumento per rafforzare l’identità collettiva. • • • 🔄 @fokvsed ⚠️ le foto presenti nel carosello sono stati adattati alle dimensioni instagram [e mi dispiace un sacco]! #professionicreative #lucavalentino #artevisiva #ricerca #artist

FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE For better or for worse,   Ana Malnar (@malnarara ) and Luca Valentino (@fokvsed ) Duration: one hour, Studio Thor, Trouble festival, Brussels, April 2025 Photos: Yannis Gkouzoumas (@gz.yani ) The performans began on March 17, when two lovers, bound in a long-distance relationship, were forced to part ways after spending a week together. For one month, they stayed apart without seeing each other. For the final seven days of this month, they committed completely cutting off contact and comminication despite being in the same city. During this time of deprivation, they recorded audio letters without sharing them with eachother. Today, these letters will be played in the space, allowing the lovers to hear them fort he first time publicly. Here they are: waiting, sitting back-to-back, seeparated by a curtain that divides the space in two. Naked and blindfolded, they will attempt to bridge the minimal distance left between them, searching for each other in the dark. What happens when something you rely on disappears? How to face the longing for who’s no longer there? How to fill that sudden void? Performance réalisée par 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 | @marionpaquette en collaboration avec 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 | @fokvsed , dans le cadre du projet 𝗧𝗲̂̃𝗹𝗲_𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗦 - 𝗧𝗩 𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲́𝗿𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲, un projet initié par le 𝗖𝗪𝗕|𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 ( @cwb_paris ) Partant d’une étendue souple et bidimensionnelle, 𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 ≈ 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚 se définit comme une membrane aux potentiels sculpturaux infinis. Cet objet élémentaire, muni d’une série de poignées, est manipulé et devient un outil d’exploration sensorielle. Entre les corps, la rencontre se matérialise en une suite de formes à la fois désobéissantes et cohésives. TROUBLE | JOUR 2 | Retour en images Ce mercredi, vous étiez nombreux·ses à pousser les portes du Studio Thor pour une deuxième journée et soirée du festival Trouble. 🔥 Cette fois, @romualddikoume2019 nous a emmené·es place Bossuet pour un rituel de purification avant que @malnarara et @fokvsed se retrouvent dans l'obscurité après 7 jours d'abstinence. *Tenda da sola :(* . . Tenda da sola :( è una videoinstallazione che continua la riflessione sul tema della soglia mostrando uno strappo che si è venuto a creare al centro della mia tenda da sole in una giornata di forte vento. I lembi strappati, mossi dalle raffiche, lasciano intravedere il sole al di là della tenda, permettendo ai suoi raggi di varcarne la soglia. . *Tenda da sola :(* è la terza opera di *Alla luce del Sole*, un percorso espositivo che riflette sul concetto di soglia e sul tema dell’abitare.

*Alla luce del Sole* . . Alla luce del Sole riflette sul tema della soglia, lo spazio liminale che viene a crearsi tra un dentro e un fuori. La mia soglia è il balcone, il luogo dove passo la maggior parte del tempo dentro casa. In balcone vivo la mia quotidianità: mangio, scrivo, leggo, fumo, bevo il caffè, parlo al telefono con la mia psicologa e mi appisolo, quando il tempo lo permette. “Se solo volessero, i miei dirimpettai potrebbero sapere tutto di me!”. Da questa riflessione è nata l’idea di ricorrere al loro sguardo per documentare il mio abitare il balcone, cercando di attivare una relazione che fino a quel momento esisteva solo in forma latente. Con una lettera consegnata a mano, ho chiesto ai miei dirimpettai di spiarmi, coinvolgendoli nella performance relazionale da cui nasce il progetto. Per tre settimane si sono calati nel ruolo di detective-voyeur, portando avanti un’indagine, scattandomi foto e video a mia insaputa, ritraendomi nel mio intimo, piccolo palcoscenico personale che è il balcone di casa. Dal materiale che mi è stato consegnato al termine della performance ho selezionato 41 scatti, stampati con la luce del sole grazie alla tecnica della cianotipia ed esposti accompagnati dalla lettera di invito e da un breve brano estratto dal mio diario: “Come un fermaporte ho sempre abitato sulla soglia per impedire al varco di chiudersi e alla Luce di entrare” . *Alla luce del Sole* è la prima opera dell’omonimo progetto, un percorso espositivo che riflette sul concetto di soglia e sul tema dell’abitare.

*151C* . . 151C è il codice pantone della mia tenda da sole. L’installazione ambientale site-specific riproduce il colore - ed il calore - della luce arancione che entra dentro casa quando abbasso la tenda da sole in balcone. La luce invade lo spazio modificandone l’umore e l’atmosfera, invitando lo spettatore nell’intimità di un interno che diventa accogliente grazie al suo contatto con l’esterno. . *151C*è la seconda opera di “Alla luce del Sole”, un percorso espositivo che riflette sul concetto di soglia e sul tema dell’abitare.
