Improving the quality of life of kids battling brain tumors & childhood cancers by pairing them with college & high school sports teamsđđ #FOJPride
NED â No Evidence of Disease.
Got my quarterly bloodwork back for my prostate cancer, and today Iâm thanking God for this blessing. In our cancer world, this is all we pray for and all we care about. Full disclosure⌠I pop a bottle each checkup!!!
Lifeâs too short not to celebrate moments like this.
Today Coach Dave and the Coachâs Corner Podcast had the honor of catching up with longtime friend Dennis Murphy, who stopped by and dropped off a shirt for us from the incredible Friends of Jaclyn Foundation â¤ď¸
The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation continues to do amazing work supporting children battling pediatric brain tumors by connecting them with school and sports teams to create life-changing relationships and support systems. We are proud to stand behind such a meaningful organization and help spread awareness for their mission.
Thank you Dennis for everything you continue to do for these families and communities. This is only the beginning â look for more to come as Coachâs Corner proudly supports the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation! đđĽ
Please take a moment to support this great cause and help make a difference.

Weâre about to begin something truly special.
From August 6â16, the Great American Road Rally will be filming across 10 cities, and this fall â starting September 2 â the show will premiere on The CW, every Wednesday night from 8â9 PM.
And Friends of Jaclyn will be at the heart of it.
In every city, we will be doing what Jaclyn dreamed of:
Adopting a child battling cancer into a team, a community, and a circle of love.
Every Wednesday leading up to filming, youâll meet the child who will be adopted in that weekâs city.
Today, we begin in Chicago â and this one is deeply personal.
đ Chicago â Meet Alexander Brown
Alexander is a brave young boy battling medulloblastoma, the same tumor Jaclyn fought. His strength and spirit remind us exactly why FOJ exists.
And behind Alexander is a family that defines courage:
⨠Christy, his mom, has been an angel on this journey, walking every step with grace and love.
⨠Charlotte, his sister, is Alexanderâs hero â the heartbeat of his support.
⨠Matt, his dad, is the rock holding this remarkable family together.
We are honored to kick off the Great American Road Rally with Alexanderâs adoption in the great city of Chicago.
And weâre not doing it alone â
đ Joe Valento Racing will be in Chicago with his Super Late Model FOJ car to launch this journey in true rally style.
This is more than a TV show.
This is hope on wheels.
This is love in motion.
This is Jaclynâs legacy reaching families across America.
Stay tuned every Wednesday as we introduce each cityâs adoptee.
Join us August 6â16 as we bring these childrenâs stories to life on Route 66. @downtownchristybrown12@downtownchristybrown12 #christybrown
With gratitude,
Denis & Jaclyn
Torrey Pines High School Menâs Lacrosse welcomed their newest FOJ adoptee â Grayson. This marks the programâs 4th adoption in 15 years, a powerful legacy of leadership, love, and lifting up children battling pediatric brain tumors. Welcome to the Falcon family, Grayson.
Weâre excited to introduce Lucas, the newest FOJ Warrior adopted by The Bishopâs School Lacrosse Team in La Jolla, California. Lucas brings heart, courage, and a fighting spirit that inspires everyone around him. Today, he officially joins the Knights as an honorary teammate â and gains a whole new family cheering him on every step of the way. Thank you, Bishopâs Lacrosse, for opening your arms and embracing our mission to bring love, support, and community to children battling pediatric brain tumors and cancers.
Welcome to the team, Lucas. Youâre a Knight for life.
Yesterday was a powerful day at Torrey Pines High School as the Menâs Lacrosse team officially adopted Grayson their 4th @fojfoundation adoptee. Grayson was welcomed with open arms, big smiles, and the kind of team spirit that makes this program special. The athletes made sure he felt like he belonged from the very first moment â because he does. This team didnât just gain a new teammate. They gained a source of inspiration, courage, and joy. And Greyson gained a whole new family to walk, run, and grow with on his journey.
Moments like this remind us why the FOJ mission matters: love, support, and friendship are the most powerful medicine we can give a child battling a brain tumor.
Welcome to the Falcon family, Grayson.
The Feminellas spent the weekend with us in North Carolina â a weekend filled with stories, memories, and the kind of quiet strength only families whoâve lived this journey truly understand. Watching Ann carry her grief with such dignity reminded me that grief never leaves⌠it just becomes part of who we are. I arrived on the West Coast yesterday. And today, I got the news about Elsa. When the doctors told her family she had about a week, they did what every parent hopes theyâd have the strength to do â they brought her home, wrapped her in love, and held her close. No machines. No noise. Just comfort, family, and the purest love. Moments like this force us to stop. To breathe. To put everything in perspective. We should love harder. Be kinder. Hold each other closer. None of us are promised anything beyond the moment weâre in. And now, Elsa has earned her wings. Iâm honestly speechless.
All we can do is honor her, love her family, and let her light shine bright. Fly high, sweet Elsa. #FOJangel
Some families leave a mark on your heart forever, and the Feminellas are one of them. This weekend, we had the gift of spending time with Joeyâs family â a family that has carried unthinkable loss with unbelievable strength. Joey was adopted by Stony Brook Football through FOJ back in 2009, and he became so much more than an adoptee. He became a teammate, a coâcaptain and a reminder of what courage looks like for more than a decade. Being with his family again reminded me why we do this work. Love doesnât end. Teams donât forget. And the bonds created through FOJ truly last a lifetime. Grateful for the time together, grateful for the memories, and grateful that Joeyâs spirit continues to inspire all of us. #FOJFamily#InMemoryOfJoey
No parent should ever face this worst nightmare.
Elsa is in the toughest moment of her journey. Her family received heartbreaking news, and she is fighting with everything she has.
FOJ Angels, Iâm asking you to wrap this family in love, prayers, and strength.
This community was built for moments like this â when a family needs to feel theyâre not alone. đ Please keep Elsa close in your thoughts. Send love and prayers to /share/g/1NMwEMoGuT/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Wishing everyone a beautiful Easter!
At FOJ, weâre reminded every day that hope grows even in the toughest seasons.
To our adoptees, siblings, parents, teams, and supporters â you inspire us with your courage and love. Live in the moment-Play in the moment! #FriendsOfJaclyn
