Ripping down a sketchy alleyway with @squanchypapi Such a cool find and unlike anything else we have in Salt Lake, thanks to @slcbiketrader for throwing an alleycat that had us exploring this area. Ramona makes this one look so smooth, but this alley was sketch: tight corners, loose asphalt, and and exit that we needed @eservice to spot for cars. This one really messed with my head, and it’s what broke my aerospoke. Verticals and sliders are two of my favorites but putting them together is very weird. Not only was the ground super rough and slippery for the slider, the fence had a very inconsistent bounce. I cracked my aerospoke on one of the attempts, but luckily it’s still rolling almost two years later. Thanks to @skrtreynolds for capturing it for the new @foadgang project “Nowhere Fast, Somewhere Slow”. Go peep.
