Some Berlin-love from this spring ๐ this is also my love letter to Berlin, the way I view this wonderful city, as sadly after almost 2.5 years, we are leaving Berlin next month ๐ญ
Before we moved to Berlin, having visited it a few times, I thought I don't like the city much. I found the city dirty and ugly, and the people rude.
Well, the city certainly isnโt clean and the GDR-era buildings have their own character for sure, and just this week I got to experience the Berlin rudeness in quite a rutheless way again ๐
but that's only a fraction of the story! My Berlin is authentic with a capital A, it's a bubble of likeminded liberal & leftist people, a mix of gazillion different cultures, of amazing food, of wonderful parties and HONESTY. I f*cking love it when people honestly tell you what they think, even if it sometimes is a bit rude. Berliners aren't afraid to share their opinion and rant to you about politics, even if you just met them.
I fell in love with Berlin already on the 2nd month we got there, a lot of it was thanks to the amazing people I met at Deutschule and at Impact Hub. And of course my rock
@reginaldmusix who kept me sane with all the work issues I faced. โค๏ธ
Luckily Berlin isnโt far away to visit, and we'll be back this summer already for a bit!
