Finally catching up to the rest of the year but it’s still running away from me! My birthday is tomorrow but happy thanksgiving🫠

Yoooo I swear it feels like summer was two weeks ago…😮‍💨 I can ALMOST still smell the food from the cookouts, see all the beautiful people, hear the sweet sounds of block parties, and feel the sun baking my skin while playing kickball😌 But it’s December and I actually smell the cold, see everyone bundled, hear my lips cracking and feel the aging in my bones🫠 -Summer Pt. 2 highlights and shoutouts- •the 940 link ups - 15/10 •MEEE in the Hamptons🤑 and that croissant🤤 •celebrating love and matrimony❤️‍🔥 •@recesskickballleague c/o 2025 💪🏾 •I’m getting another niece🥹 •beach days…and nights😏 •fresh fig🫦 •3am bonfires •cryo boots •TRAP ballet •West Indian Day Parade🇯🇲🇩🇴🇭🇹🇹🇹🇬🇩 •kickball Kickball KICKBALL!! The competition, the sportsmanship🫣, the commitment, the BLACKness, the banter, the love, BUT the communityyyyy…I found community in ways I didn’t even know I needed, in this league, and it was only my rookie season. It was so refreshing to be able to step away from the grind and hustle and just kick it! Credit, praise, kudos, props, applause, ALLADAT to @jalanator & @_conartist , my captains man! Grief has found me often the last couple of years and not being right there with everyone has made it even harder…there’s no way I’d make it out here without the support from back home and the hearts that have held mine since I’ve been out here. WINTER = Family friends & FOOOD Just me or did winter last forEVerrrr?! Went to my niece’s first dance recital, moved into a new place, got LOTS of snow, had my first “birthday party” in NYC, Max had a birthday, NYE😮‍💨, Valentine’s Day🥰, and then ended with a little spa day🧖🏾‍♂️ So excited for the rest of this year!! Happy Spring, y’all!😎

Took a break from a lot this summer… So glad I did, it allowed me to enjoy so many things I usually, and too easily take for granted. Hands down & II HANDS II HEAVEN😜 it’s been my favorite summer since moving to NYC So blessed with too many beautiful humans I call my people, couldn’t tag them all but y’all know who tf you are!!🥹🫶🏾❤️‍🔥😜
