Our Year 2 Apprentices took part in a Dragon’s Den-style challenge during our Apprentice Enrichment Day earlier this month 💡
The teams explored opportunities for innovation, developed proposals that could add real value to the business, and presented their ideas to our ‘Dragons’.
The projects’ theme was 'Constructing Change: Driving Innovation with AI'. Each team explored an AI solution that could support the business, while considering key priorities such as health and safety.
Throughout the day, apprentices shared ideas with our industry experts and showed strong collaboration and problem-solving skills in their pitches.
The quality of ideas and teamwork shown was an excellent reflection of the value and insight apprentices bring to the business. A special mention goes to our winning team for their well-considered approach and clear presentation 👏

💬 "Working in groups gave us valuable exposure to different roles across the business, and more importantly, encouraged us to collaborate on an idea that reflected a range of perspectives. “Everyone works differently, and learning to adapt makes collaboration easier.” 💬
This was feedback from one of our Year 1 apprentices following our Apprentice Enrichment Day, held at our head office, Conway House, last week.
During the day, Apprentices explored their own strengths and discovered how recognising different approaches can help build relationships and improve collaboration in the workplace.
Through interactive sessions, they gained valuable insight into their working styles and developed the confidence to work more inclusively with others.
Feedback from the day was extremely positive, and it’s clear our apprentices learned a lot from the experience. We look forward to seeing how they apply this learning in their roles.

Some of our residents had the opportunity to have a week's work experience with FM Conway where they gained a deeper insight into the various roles available, had exclusive site visits and industry networking opportunities.
The ladies were also supported with employability skills and had the opportunity to gain industry tips and advice around CV's, the interview process and more!

Big glow-up underground ✨🚻 The public toilets at Piccadilly Circus Underground Station have had a full refresh, and they’re now open. Think upgraded male & female facilities, a family changing room, baby-changing in both areas, plus major structural, drainage and waterproofing works and brand-new fire safety systems to futureproof this Grade II listed space.
And it’s not just practical - it’s beautiful too 🎨 London artist James Lambert has created a bold tiled artwork inspired by Anteros, with winged figures and vibrant pink and yellow tones celebrating the energy, theatre and iconic lights of Piccadilly Circus.
This is the third site completed in our £12.7m West End refurbishment programme — creating cleaner, greener and more inclusive spaces for everyone who lives in, works in or visits Westminster.

Is your workplace fertility friendly? Did you know we offer workplace support and training?
Our Trustee @anyasizer pioneered fertility in the workplace in the UK, and we've been working with a number of different companies and organisations to help them to support their employees.
We wanted to shout out to @fm_conway who we've been working with over a period of time, running workshops and helping with policies.
They've been so supportive and really keen to know how best to help employees who are experiencing fertility issues. We've had some wonderful feedback and are delighted that the work we've done together has had such positive outcomes - "As someone who has had a long and painful fertility journey which ultimately resulted in being childless not by choice, the partnership between FM Conway and the Fertility Alliance has supported me in opening up about my experiences. I have been able to share my story, which has helped me personally as well as colleagues across the business in navigating a very challenging process. By having open and honest conversations, FM Conway has been able to improve fertility awareness, as well as educate and champion wellbeing and self-care to our employees."
