Individuality is an act of definition. It is the courage to draw a line, to claim a point of view, to stand by what feels personal and specific. It grows from intuition & from the quiet confidence of knowing who you are and why you choose what you choose. It gives shape to identity, it sharpens difference and turns self-expression into meaning.
Collectiveness, on the other hand, is an act of connection. It expands beyond the self, embracing shared values, mutual understanding, and the power of belonging. It reminds us that ideas evolve when they are exchanged, that culture is built through dialogue, and that meaning deepens when it is co-created. Collectiveness amplifies voices, turning singular expressions into movements.
In a world oscillating between hyper-individualism and the need for community, neither side exists in isolation. Softness moves with intention. It doesn’t rush, it whispers, it treats us tenderly. It speaks for itself without needing full volume.
Boldness embraces abundance, it honors indulgence. It makes a choice, it takes space, it walks with loud confidence and uses specificity as its best weapon.
Choosing softness as a lifestyle, as a mindset or as an aesthetic seems like an accurate response to the pace of the times. It makes it feel easier, more tender. But at the same time, choosing boldness works wonders in a world where standing out is mandatory.
As human beings, we can embrace both recognizing where each one is needed. As brands, we can make them coexist by being intentional on where we place each side.

MAXIMALISM | MINIMALISM
In a world saturated with options minimalism is a bold choice. Restraint is the principle for edition, it’s the first ingredient for intention, it speaks volumes when you have to keep the just the basics & the necessary. Maximalism, on the other hand, is about indulgence, is about knowing how to mix and match, is making the most of everything while making it make sense and embracing the possibility of when more is more.
In that saturated cultural context both sides can provide meaning: minimalism welcomes practicality, focus, and refinement, and maximalism creates authenticity, uniqueness and most of the times, the unexpected outcomes that appear when knowing how to use the right ingredients.

Creamos The Culture Aperitivo como un espacio para estimular el apetito por la cultura, por puntos de vista frescos y por nuevas ideas. Conversamos con @joshuagh , @anabelizam y @ricardoballen sobre la intersección entre las marcas y la cultura. Queríamos crear un espacio offline, íntimo, entre amigos, colegas, clientes y mentes curiosas y sensibles, @mala.audiobar fue la casa perfecta para este encuentro y el aperitivo estuvo a cargo de @donjulio.col .
