It’s one thing to get the new building ready, it’s a whole other thing to build out 10 new tenant spaces. Meet some of the team leaders helping lead the charge on getting the C Concourse Expansion project ready to open with 10 new concepts. #UpgradeSEA

Smooth sailing (or driving!) at SEA is on the way! Two new lanes + direct garage access = less congestion, more progress! 🚗

SEA, it’s your time to shine! We’re launching the SEA Ambassador Program ahead of a major international soccer tournament this summer, and you’re invited to be part of the welcome team. Greet travelers, help them find their way, and share what makes the PNW unforgettable. Love travel, people, and this region? This is your moment!

Ambitious public art projects require nimble and high-quality collaborators. Ed contacted Angelina Villalobos (onesevennine) for this enormous commission for SeaTac and the Port of Seattle. She’s so talented, inspired, and fun from beginning to end. Their design grew and evolved over several months. Thanks also to the Tieton Mosaic team, it grew into something truly special. “Migration” greets visitors and passengers as they approach the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport terminal at the Departures level and is also visible from the Link Light Rail platform. #seattleart #seattleartist #publicart #seatac #seattleartists

@flysea is prepared to keep you safe! ✈️ Over 100+ volunteers and first responders participated in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s emergency response drill required by the FAA and only happens every 3 years. #flysea #seattletacomainternationalairport #seatacairport #emergencydrill #portofseattle

This is only a drill. Every three years, SEA conducts a full-scale emergency exercise required by the FAA, bringing together our Port of Seattle Fire Department, local first responders, and regional partners to train for the unexpected. Why? So if a real emergency ever happens, our teams are ready to respond quickly and keep travelers safe.

I’ve flown out of SEA more times than I can count, but this felt like a front-row seat to the summit! If you’re flying south out of Seattle, this is your sign to double-check your seat map. Pro Tip: The Best Seats for the View: Seats 5A – 10A: Perfect unobstructed views in front of the wing. Seats 12A – 15A: This is the "sweet spot" if you want the mountain framed perfectly by the Delta winglet for your videos. Avoid the Mid-Section: Stay away from rows 18–26 if you don't want your view completely blocked by the wing! Save this for your next trip to the PNW! 📌 Which side do you usually pick—window or aisle? #mtrainier #delta #pnw

Rumor has it… they’re back. Security checkpoint wait times at SEA Airport are live again in the flySEA app, throughout the terminal, and at portseattle.org/WaitTime.

New art alert: Our Public Art Program finished installing a colorful, moving mosaic art piece on the Departures Drive as part of #UpgradeSEA’s Roadway Improvements project. This piece called, “Migration,” is by local artists Ed Marquand and Angelina Villalobos.

THIS IS AN EXERCISE ONLY! On May 13, the Port of Seattle Fire Department will conduct a full-scale emergency exercise simulating an aircraft accident at SEA. Area first responders and volunteer “victims” will participate alongside SEA’s portable mock aircraft fuselage. The exercise will NOT affect flights or terminal operations at SEA. Signs will be posted where activity may be visible, and nearby residents may notice emergency vehicles staging as part of the drill. THIS IS AN EXERCISE ONLY!
