When I first started working with sneakers, the question was always “why?” Now, with everything I’ve learned, taught, received, and given… the answer is clear: 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀. Because of my love for art and sneakers, I’ve been able to: • Teach myself something rarely seen before and transform it into a meaningful art form • Use my platform to give back, from #FKCarebags to art supplies for young creatives, to curating youth workshops and exhibitions that uplift other artists • Raise over $35,000 since 2018 for community-driven initiatives • 2023- 2025 Receive $25K in grants to keep building and creating • Exhibit my work in respected galleries, events, news, print/TV. But more than anything, I’ve built real connections and learned invaluable lessons along the way. All of this… 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀. Some people will never fully understand how much a person has endured just by looking at them. They’ll see the smile, the consistency, the strength, and never realize the storms that had to be survived to become that version of you. I’ve never felt the need to overexplain myself. I was never taught to choose one side of myself over another. I was taught to love every part of who I am, loud and proud. ❤️🇵🇷 From the brown complexion of my skin, to the texture of my hair, to the way my hands move passionately when I speak, every part of me carries generations of love, resilience, and pride. Puerto Rico is more than where my family comes from, it’s the place that my mother Hilda was born, the place that raised my grandmother Ana Hilda , the home that strengthened my grandfather Ferdinand, and created one of the most resilient women I’ve ever known, my late great grandmother Ana Torres. They all taught me that I never had to choose between parts of myself. I am all of it. And there is beauty in that. This piece, “El Corazón,” is my homage to breaking through all barriers and loving yourself fully and unapologetically. To representing every part of who you are with pride. Happy Mother’s Day to my heart in human form. For as long as I can remember, I have never played about you. When you would laugh and smile at me as a kid, l remember thinking, I will never let anyone hurt your beautiful heart. And all these years later, I’ve kept that promise. A few things most people don’t know about me: I never really cared for flowers until the first time you gave them to me at my first solo show on June 4, 2021. I still remember you walking through that doorway, so proud and excited, flowers in hand. I even kept some of those flowers and framed them because that moment meant that much to me. Truthfully, a big reason I do art shows is just to see your smile in those moments. Another thing most people don’t know, I don’t really keep pictures around my place except in my studio. My studio is the battery pack that keeps everything running, and the photos of the people I love remind me how grateful | am every single day. I keep photos of us when I was a baby because honestly... I still can’t believe I got this BIG. Like WTF 😆But more importantly, those pictures remind me what unconditional love feels like. Your love for me has never swayed, even during the times | lost my way. You have loved me like your heart beating depended on it. I love you today, tomorrow, and every day after that. Happy Mother’s Day, Mommy. ❤️✨

Descanse en paz ❤️🪽🇵🇷 This afternoon I sat beside you, played some of our favorite Jibarito music, held your hand to say one last I love you, kissed you on your forehead one last time while you could feel my love for you and you held my hand tightly and kissed it one last time. In November, For my 1st real solo exhibition in a gallery I wanted to capture the love I have for Papi, my grandfather. I am the 1st grandchild and I have always loved my grandfather loud and proud. In my solo show I featured “Cartoons I watched with my Grandfather”. I created the iconic Popeye because Papi liked watching those cartoons with us as kids and Popeye reminded me of my grandfather. When I was a kid, papi use to tell me if I ate my spinach I’d be strong like him and Papi ain’t tell no lies, I’m super strong! ☺️💪🏾 I wrote “strong to the finish” because Papi was strong as a child and kept holding on until the very end. I knew featuring Papi in my show was important to me and it would be a moment I'd carry with me forever. I loss my Papi a few hrs ago but I know he can rest easy now. I am forever and always thankful for how his love for all of us and more importantly my grandmother has inspired me. It has set the standard for loving someone. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to show people how much I loved Papi; Loud & Proud!

I can sit with you all day, be still, experience multiple moments of clarity, no overthinking or overanalyzing just knowing wholeheartedly I’m exactly where I need to be. That’s how I know you’re magic. Time has stopped on many occasions. I’ve had hours feel like minutes and in those moments of absorbing the beauty of my surroundings I’m satisfied; I don’t need more. Many things are copy/paste but what feels like magic can’t easily be replicated.
