It’s been really fulfilling to work with Jason on his latest album, we’ve witnessed for years as he’s spun plates on sticks and worn all sorts of hats to bring his music to you folks, and damn well might we add. There really is a lot that goes into keeping the ship afloat and we think it’s pretty sweet to be able to lighten the load and support music we love! Thank you to all you folks who reach out with your kind words and excitement about the new songs, you make it feel real special that we get to do this.
Currently sitting on months of creative visions. That’s part of the whirlwind life. I say yes, we live, we create together, we explore, we laugh and cherish. Only for a day here, only in town passing through, only for right-now-until-we-don’t-know-when-or-where-again. I say yes because my friends and I live in a river that goes. Say a prayer for the right kind of afternoon and iced coffee soon. Then I can dive into these back burner pots of sifting through images with fresh heart and mind. For what purpose? Because we dreamt it up and did it.

I’ve been enjoying creating physical photo albums lately so sharing to Instagram has a very flat lackluster appeal… but man @aureliaannecohen is a dream and I’d like to share some beauty.
I’ve been creating photos non stop so far this year. I’m grateful for everyone who shows up to collaborate and connect. Come over to my home and you can flip your fingers through the album. It’s like analog Instagram. You can tell me which ones you like best and if you have any comments and you won’t even have to type or double tap anything
My first full length album “Before the Poppies Bloom” comes out on November 21st on @honey.baby.records ! This album feels like a culmination of me stepping into my own depth as a songwriter and musician as well as the joining of forces of some of the people I feel most creatively connected to. So much love and intention has been put into this from all those involved and I am eternally grateful. It was recorded at my home away from the coast, Camp Verde AZ at my dear friend @ghostyfuntime ‘s studio!

For my birthday this year I finally gave myself permission to cut into a really nice buckskin hide I’ve been saving away for years. Lots of hours, lots of figuring, and now I have a top I truly love custom fit exactly to me. I’ve never worked with leather before but this definitely sparked something in me. Peep the @spellofflowers silk I used to tie up the corset 🌞✨🧡

It’s been one week since we released Primitive! We couldn’t have made such a soulful and enjoyable movie without the help of so many great folks.
Each scene / fable came to us one at a time, and we filmed over the course of several months as friends passed through Reno. The amount of joy and chaos that went into the making of this guitar-album-turned-silent-movie-soundtrack-fairytale-extravaganza has been overwhelmingly enriching and inspiring.
Thank you to everyone who helped turn this dream into a tangible fun weird little adventure. It sure feels special to have done this with you all.
