remember this sensation - a thesis performance informed by my research into the aesthetic value and practical utility of postmodern movement improvisation in the field of contemporary dance.
I am honored to have facilitated this endeavor alognside the brilliant @nonjenue ; and am grateful to have an ensemble of wonderful artists and athletes:

Here we are; against all obstacles. In 3 days we open. Come see the product of our process.

2026 Break-In Dance Fest Choreographers✨
Meet Jen Passios & Jacob Regan!
Jen & Jacob will be sharing their work Apply Pressure and Wait at Break-In Dance Fest this August 6th + 7th! 🌵
We are beyond excited to welcome @nonjenue & @flyingfloorward to this year’s program! 🤎
Found this gem today in the computer archive while searching for something else.
The Dirt Pile Solo (unofficial name) is the first thing I made for @flyingfloorward back when I “didn’t choreograph.” (Please read as “was afraid of being bad at choreography and therefore avoided it.”)
It’s part of a longer work we made but never performed. A very pandemic thing to do.
We made a lot of stuff with no attachment in 2020.

Apply Pressure and Wait for @radfest_dance 2026
We love RADFest so much— The camaraderie is unmatched, our host families are always the best, friends from all over the country just happen to show up, and @aderanphoto makes us look good even when we’re running on 5 hours of sleep and an unexpected 300 mile round trip drive to Detroit. Magic all around.
Thank you @shsudance for supporting this opportunity to share our work on a national scale and represent the department that turned us from university students into teachers.
Dancing really is a wild thing. I still can’t believe we get to do this ❤️🫶
