This time, I had a quick solo session at Balmoral skatepark. This tiny skatepark has some pretty funky features, but being a small space it gets busy real quick… luckily had some time on a week day for a quick session and had the park to my self… solo dojo!
Fun fact, the supports for the rail are the shape of the Brisbane river! Kinda cool little Easter egg, despite being incredibly dangerous in practicality 😂

This is more than just a new skate, it is the beginning of a movement. The FlyingEagle VIREO is designed to spark passion, create opportunities and make aggressive skating more accessible to a wider range of skaters.
The VIREO comes in two adjustable size ranges: EU 30–34 with a 220mm wheelbase and 59mm wheels, and EU 35–39 with a 250mm wheelbase and 60mm wheels. Both come in a flat setup with Super High Rebound compound wheels featuring a bullet profile for a smoother roll, more control and less wheel-bite on tricks, rolling on ABEC 7 fast bearings.

A revolutionary unibody construction with a size-adjustable toecap. *Patent pending.
The shell, soulplate, and frame are integrated into a single structure, reducing height and weight while increasing rigidity, impact resistance, and overall grinding performance.
The size-adjustable toecap system offers fixed positions covering five full sizes. An expandable toe section in the liner adapts smoothly to each size setting, maintaining comfort and support. The internal metal plate is designed to increase stability, locking the size while providing additional protection against impacts and vibration. Allowing the skate to grow with the rider while maintaining consistent support and responsiveness.
A specially shaped h-block and beveled frame corners provide excellent lock-in for technical grinds straight out of the box, with added protection against wheel-bite. Combined with a well balanced soul and negative space, it makes learning tricks easier and progression more rewarding. The bullet profile wheels improve the rolling experience while further reducing the risk of wheel-bite.
Designed with young skaters in mind, the VIREO is also a strong option for adults with smaller feet.
