“Freestylable,” says @cj_nelson . He continues, “The Parallax Plus is really freestylable when you’re dealing with 2 + 1 fin setups.” He elaborates that there are generally two types of surfers when it comes to choosing a 2 + 1 setup for the Parallax Plus: those who have spent most of their lives on boards they surf off the fins—such as a shortboard, an egg, or a groveller—and those who want their board to primarily feel like a “juiced-up” single fin. For the first group, he suggests larger side fins with a smaller center fin; for the second group, he suggests smaller sides with a larger center. Specifics? “Any side fin can be paired with any of the performance center fins we make,” he says. “The @taylorjensentj sides are a great place to start, as are any of the @nealpurchasejnr sides. And then you have my personally designed Skylimit sides.” Explore your favorite fin setups at surf shops everywhere, or on our website at flyingdiamondsca.com.

We agree with @braeden.pe . The new FDX-1 is sized either Medium or Large in both Thruster and Five Fin Tri Quad sets from @flyingdiamondsofcalifornia . Check the fin wall at both our locations in Solana Beach and Oceanside for this single set of fins designed for every shortboard and midlength you ride. These things are sick.
